  1.         Distribution conditions of Rattlesnake's images on this CD.

  3. NOTE: All images with the filename prefixed with "D_", eg. "D_PEGAS", 
  4. "D_OWLMAN" etc. are copyrite and have certain redistribution conditions;
  5.  
  6. YOU MAY: Print them out, Put them on a BBS, use them in a PD demo or 
  7. game, Put them on a floppy disk and add them to your PD library, convert 
  8. them to other graphic formats (eg. IFF, BMP etc.), use them in a multi-
  9. media demonstration, and alter them in any way whatsoever FOR PERSONAL USE 
  10. ONLY.

  12. YOU MAY NOT: Use them in a commercial production - such as a game, put 
  13. them on CD Rom (until May 1997), put a disk archive containing any of 
  14. these images onto CD Rom (until May 1997), change the filename (except the 
  15. .gif suffix, if you change the graphic type), change the screen mode (eg.
  16. from 640x512 to 320x256), reduce the number of colours, remove my name and
  17. copyrite if there is one, add anything visually such as a BBS advert, and 
  18. anything else that will ruin the overall look.

  20. As I mentioned above, they may not be put on any other CD rom whatsoever 
  21. until May 1997, after then all my rules still apply, but other CD Rom 
  22. compilers can redistribute them.

  24. I (Rattlesnake), the producer of these pictures, believe in the spirit of 
  25. Public Domain, and respect the quality of 17 Bit CD's so I thought I'd 
  26. give them something a little special!
